Marina Hunter is a photographer and creative director based in Charleston, South Carolina. A graduate of the College of Charleston with a BA in Studio Arts, she first discovered her fascination with photography as a tool for storytelling — blending emotion, memory, and imagined worlds.

Working primarily between Charleston and New York, Marina’s imagery draws on surrealism and explores themes of mental health, identity, and the layered nature of female emotion through a mixed-media approach. Her images blur the line between reality and dream, beauty and discomfort, seduction and fear.

Marina’s work has been featured in multiple editorials including Rolling Stones UK, Interview Mag, Nylon, Inked, People, and Off the Rails. Marina has worked with notable musicians including Corey Taylor, Maggie Lindemann, and Nessa Barrett. She has also partnered with brands including Playboy, Urban Outfitters, Dolls Kill, OMighty, and La Moda.
